Boston is a center of bicycle design, and Seven Cycles founder and president Rob Vandermark has become a cycle-industry legend. His designs have won mountain-bike world championships and scads of fans. (Our bike messenger's jaw dropped when he saw the Duo in our offices.) The Duo is built to order, including an exclusive butted titanium frame, a ground breaking suspension system, and a comfy seat. All this can add up�the frame alone costs $3,100�but it's a small price to pay for the ultimate off-road machine.
