Team Seven’s Mary McConneloug took the victory in the elite women’s race in Round 6 of the Verge New England Championship Cyclocross Series, (Sterling, MA, November 27), dominating the race from start to finish. By the end of the first lap she had a huge advantage that she would never relinquish.<\/p>\n
Mary is the overall series leader going into next weekend’s series finale in S. Kingston, RI. The race next Saturday is worth double points, and could have a dramatic impact on the final standings for the Verge NECCS.<\/p>\n
