WATERTOWN, Mass. Seven Cycles’ Odonata has been included in an exhibit at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show in Geneva, Switzerland. The Odonata will be displayed at the unveiling of Daimler Chrysler’s Airflite concept vehicle, a new design that combines the styling of a coupe with the function of a sedan.
“The selection for DaimlerChrysler’s Geneva Motor Show exhibit came completely by surprise,” said Jennifer Miller, head of marketing for Seven. “They told me they made their choice by calling some 20 bicycle dealers randomly and asking them what bicycle company best fit the theme of functional art. The curators said Seven’s name came up overwhelmingly.”
The exhibit, dubbed “The Wings Gallery: A Celebration of Functional Art,” includes pieces chosen for their combination of form and function. Other products selected for the exhibit include Harman Kardan’s iSub and SoundSticks and Logitech’s pocket digital camera.
