Seven Cycles Inside Sales Account Specialist

The inside sales team's mission is to promote Seven's unique capabilities to Seven's authorized retailers and end users, meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals and facilitating the delivery of our award-winning bikes. The team actively sells Seven bikes to retailers and riders via phone and email with both short and long-term strategies for promoting growth. Process outgoing orders and collaborate with the performance design team to manage retail partnerships.

Sales Account Specialist Responsibilities
  • Drive customer sales in collaboration with our authorized retailers and distributors through market research, key account planning, education, personal relationship development, written and telephone campaigns.
  • Retailer visits, trade show sales, and demo events.
  • Well versed in all aspects of Seven's sales, fit, fabrication, and service methodologies.
  • Work style:
    • Our sales team members work primarily autonomously but also as part of a group.
    • Our sales team works alongside — and takes direction from — Seven's sales director to implement and make successful our sales plans, goals, and messaging.

Required Experience
  • A track record of selling sophisticated high-end products to end users in a retail or online setting.
  • You love cycling and have a particular interest in high-end performance products.
  • Competent and accurate communications including written, oral, and presentations skills.
  • Broad understanding of the bicycling industry as well as a cycling enthusiast
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills

Ideal Qualifications
  • An undergraduate degree relevant to the sales profession.
  • You've sold high-end bicycles and components at the retail level or as a supplier or distributor.
  • You have managed teams and were responsible for their performance.
  • You are a tech-savvy bike geek with an innate interest in keeping up on meaningful industry innovations and trends.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage and benefits relative to other small businesses. Benefits include partial health insurance coverage, flex time, paid time off, bike industry benefits, a retirement plan, and more.

Work location: On-site at Seven Cycles in Watertown, MA.
