Draftsperson Role Summary

The Performance Design Technician collects and analyzes all of the critical information required to ensure that every customer's bike is exactly what they want and need.

Draftsperson Responsibilities
  • Review each customer's "Custom Kit" and identify any gaps or unclear information in their responses.
  • Schedule and conduct a phone interview with each customer to validate the data submitted in their Custom Kit and collect additional critical information to build their bike.
  • Enter, review and validate the customer data and run the necessary calculations to generate Preliminary Specs, a Confirmation Form and a CAD design of the customer's bike.
  • Modify the Preliminary Specs if errors are found during the Quality Control process.
  • Respond to any customer questions via call or email about an ordered or delivered bike.
  • Train retailers on using the Seven Fit Methodology – informally during retailer phone calls and in person at retailers and in our office.
  • Support the Sales and Service teams and participate in Special Projects as needed.
  • Ensure that every customer is thrilled with their Seven experience and bike.

Required Experience
  • SolidWorks: You are proficient in SolidWorks and have at least two years of experience with part modeling, assembly creation, production machining drawing generation, and some CAM experience.
  • Cycling: You love cycling and have a particular interest in high-end performance products.
