Frame Features
This information overrides any photographs or text counter to the following.
Frame Element | Specifications |
---|---|
Wheel & tire clearance |
|
Chainring size | 2x: Optimized for 46/30t chainrings. The frame will not fit larger chainrings. (This constraint is chosen to keep the chainstays as short as possible while maintaining clearance for 45 mm tires.) |
1x maximum chainring sizes, brand specific:
|
|
Dropouts | Either:
|
Fender mounts | Fender mounts on dropouts, chainstay bridge, and seat stay bridge. (Seat stay bridge mount placement is the popular 90-degree orientation to the hub.)
(Standard Rider-Ready gravel designs do not have fender mounts.) |
Seat stay design | Moto stays (rather than InLine stays). Moto provide a smoother ride and additional tire traction. More seat stay design details. |

2x shifter routing (front and rear derailleurs) | Your choice of:
Shimano note: Di2 routing is not compatible with older Shimano parts kits including 815, 8000, and 9100 series. |
Brake housing routing | External: Zip tie guides for optimal performance, smooth front-end handling, ease of maintenance, low maintenance, and light weight. Compatible with hydraulic and cable-actuated disc brakes. Note: Available with internal brake routing upgrade. |
Derailleur hanger | Available with either:
Note about Seven's titanium integrated hanger: Not replaceable or disposable. Seven's titanium derailleur hangers are the toughest in the industry. We've never had one break. Our new generation of thru-axle dropouts has yet to see a hanger damaged beyond bike shop service. We have no need for fragile replaceable hangers. Neither will you. Note about the UDH system: While Seven's in-house machined titanium UDH dropout is the toughest on the market, the hanger is replaceable. It is either aluminum or plastic and will get destroyed repeatedly over the life of the bike. Buy and ride with multiple replacement parts. |
Hub spacing & details | Designed for 142 x 12 mm thru-axle hub. |
Thru-axle | Robert Project thru-axle included with frame:
Hex head 6 mm,torque 12.0 Nm. |
Brake caliper mount | Native flat mount for 140 mm rotor. If using a 160 mm rotor, an adapter is required, not supplied with the frame. Shimano SM-MA-R160D/D. This part does not come with the brake caliper. For SRAM, the 160 mm rotor adapter is typically included with the brake caliper. |
Bottom bracket shell |
|
Headtube diameter | 44 mm, universal standard |
Seat tube diameter | Outside diameter for front derailleur clamp: 34.9 mm (1.375") |
Seat post retention system | Rear slot with external seat top clamp, included with frame. |
Seat post diameter | 27.2 mm |
Water bottle mounts | Three: one on seat tube, one on top of down tube, and one under the down tube. (Standard Rider-Ready designs have 2 bottle mounts.) |
Other options and mounts | None |

Seven certifies only Seven and Enve forks for this bike project. No other fork is available or certified for this bike.

Fork limitations: The only forks Seven certifies for this bike are Seven branded or the specific fork we specified for this design. For safety, no other fork should be used. Using any other fork voids the frame warranty and is not endorsed by Seven.
Do not modify this fork in any way. Do not add anything to this fork. This is a high-performance product.
Motor assist: Not compatible with any motor assist systems. Warranty is void if a motor assist system is employed.
Indoor trainer: Seven's warranty is valid with all indoor trainer systems.
