U.S. Built Custom Bicycles in Titanium and Titanium-Carbon Mix
This is Seven rider David Bedard rocking his Axiom titanium tri bike at Louisville IRONMAN 2013.
David says:
After a proper fitting at Landry’s and many months of training I successfully raced the bike at the Louisville IRONMAN in late August (averaging roughly 19.5MPH). The temperature was 91 degrees on that Sunday and brutally hot on the run. During the last 10 miles of the run all I could think about was selling the bike and never thinking about another IRONMAN event. Oddly, on Tuesday when we were returning from Louisville I asked my wife which IRONMAN I should do next – she laughed.
I had more thumbs up over my SEVEN than the entire sea of carbon.
We built this stealthy Expat S with our friends at Wheel Werks Custom Bikes in Crystal Lake, IL.
John says:
Wow – what a great bike you designed and built for me! I spent most of the weekend riding as much as possible! It’s solid, responsive, and comfortable to ride. I even got my first, “Hey, what kind of bike is that?”. It was fun explaining the frame and components!
And here is John with Bob Olsen, the man with the plan at Wheel Werks.

We love getting pictures like this one from Leila K in Austin, TX. We built this Axiom SL for her with our friends from Mellow Johnny’s.
As a custom bike, the Axiom SL is one of the most versatile we make. Some riders build it for group riding, some to tour, some to commute, and others, like Leila, to race. With subtle geometry changes, an infinite number of tube choices, and then all the custom options you could want, arriving at that perfect bike is easy. Leila chose a custom decal for hers, something to set off her MJ’s team kit.
She says:
I’ve been riding it (and racing it) for about 3-weeks now and I LOVE it! Being an odd size I’ve always settled for whatever frame fit best. This bike fits perfectly. I’ve now raced it twice and it handles beautifully and is very responsive. I’ve already gotten so many complements on the bike. Thank you so much!
