We built this 622 SLX for our friend Adam at Get-a-Grip Cycles in Chicago last season, but he just gave it the fresh bar tape, fresh saddle treatment, so he sent us a picture. We love the Swimming Pool Blue he chose for the carbon tubing, and the Campy EPS build out turns it into something of a show bike. Fortunately, we know the Chicago winter is coming to a close, and we expect this one to leave the showroom and get back on the road shortly.

And Fun Was Had By All
The 26th edition of the Seattle Bike Expo was a weekend dedicated to bikes and the people who love them. Over 7000 people attended the event to check out bike-related goodness galore. Seven Founder Rob Vandermark was one of the featured speakers at the show. He gave a presentation on the subject of “Customization Beyond Fit” and had the chance to answer a lot of one-on-one questions afterwards.
Attendees were able to check out a number of Sevens on display in Cascade’s Bicycle Studio’s booth.
All the hard work Cascade Bicycle Studio put into their booth paid off! A panel from Seattle’s Bicycle Paper singled out their booth as best one in show and awarded the Seven retailer with this year’s Class Act award. Congratulations guys!
Jim K’s Axiom SL
The day we get tired of hearing about the amazing adventures riders get up to on their Sevens is the day we pack up the shop and ride off into the sunset. This is Jim and his Axiom SL, built with our friends at City Cycle in Corte Madera, CA.
Jim says:
For my 70th birthday, I had a Seven Axiom SL made and took it from my home in California to London to do the first ever RideLondon London-Surrey 100 on August 4, 2013. The century was on the London Olympics road racing course which was closed for the day. The ride started at the Olympic Park in London and finished at the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace. This is a picture of me taken at the finish in front of the Palace. Both the bike and the rider did just fine.
Thank you Seven.
Roxanne’s Axiom S
This is Roxanne’s Axiom S. We built it with one of our favorite fitters, Jess at Two Wheel Tango. Roxanne opted for custom blue decals to match her bar tape. We like it a lot. Now we’re just waiting for a warm winter day, so she can show it off to the world.
Roxanne says:
Waiting for a ride! Brutal cold here in MI! Thanks for all your help and excellent work by your staff! She’s a beauty!
Patrick D’s Elium SL
This is Patrick’s Elium SL with Pointed Panel paint scheme, finished out with SRAM Red components, another collaboration with our friends at High Gear Cyclery in Stirling, NJ.
Patrick says:
I just wanted to send a quick thank you to the entire team that built my frame. The process was thorough, simple and fast!! The frame is beyond all my expectations and looks simply amazing.
