Lion of Spring: Allroads Standard Fit
The Standard Fit
Optimized for fast group riding.
Our Standard Fit is our most popular allroad frameset geometry. It is a contemporary rider position that balances aerodynamics, ergonomics, quick handling, and comfort. Refined through tens of thousands of custom road designs over more than a quarter century, we know more about ideal rider fit and handling than just about any builder.
Of course, when choosing a frame size, it has to fit YOU. That's why we offer the Lion in Spring in three distinct fit categories (Standard, Aero, and Endurance). Choose wisely.
Looking for a different fit?
We offer the Lion of Spring in two other distinct fit profiles:
Endurance Fit
Optimized for the long ride. The Endurance Fit is ideal for rides where comfort, control, and energy management are critical. This fit also excels on rougher roads and dirt; it provides more stability and control in all conditions.
By the numbers:
- Taller front end: About 3.0 cm higher frame stack puts you in a more comfortable and distance-oriented riding position.
- About 1.0 cm shorter frame reach, which provides you a bit more control, comfort, and improved weight distribution.
See the full fit details and frame geometry for the Endurance Fit Lion of Spring.
Aero Fit
Aero position. Watts over comfort. All out speed through tight turns, during acceleration, and climbing. Full-time rider. Aero fit for the long ride.
By the numbers:
- Lower front end: About 3.0 cm lower frame stack puts you in a more aggressive aerodynamic position and improved power generation.
- About 1.0 cm longer frame reach, which provides you with a flatter back for improved aerodynamics.

General Frame & Bike Geometry Notes
All measurements in centimeters and degrees. Bike geometry shown with 700c x 28 mm slick tires.
- Top tube length is the effective distance from the intersection of the head tube and top tube, measured horizontally to the ground back to the seat tube's centerline.
- Specifications shown with 28 mm tires.
- Seat tube length is measured from the center of the bottom bracket to the intersection of the top tube and seat tube. To determine the total seat tube length — the top edge of the seat top to the center of the bottom bracket — add about 4.5 cm.
- Toe overlap warning: Because toe overlap is determined, in large part, by factors not related to frame geometry, we cannot guarantee that your bike setup will not have any overlap. Make sure you are comfortable with the length of the front center before ordering. You can check your current bike to compare the front center of your sized Seven.
- Standover height is measured midway along the top tube, the typical point where a rider stands on a bike. Seven's standover measurement point is different from many production bikes. Make sure Seven's measurement works for your needs.
- Warning: The popular measurement "frame reach" is not a good gauge of proper bike fit. Also, the term is not accurate and, therefore, often causes confusion. Seven qualifies the term with "BB-HT" to help define the measurement. Regardless of these shortcomings, we include frame reach BB-HT because it has become a popular industry shorthand for comparing one bike size to another. While the frame reach numbers Seven shows here are accurate, Seven does not take responsibility for an ill-fitting bike if you rely on the industry's frame reach number. Top tube length is much more relevant and helpful in bike-to-bike fit comparisons. To better understand the limitations of frame reach, visit our Engineering the Lion page.
- Handlebar width is measured center-to-center at the hoods.
