Why Choose to Work With Seven Cycles

What makes Seven such a special bike-building company to work with? After all, on paper, dozens of companies look similar. We believe the list of qualities that makes Seven a compelling employer is long and diverse. Here are a few examples that may be captivating:
- Experience and History: Seven's founder team has been working in the framebuilding industry for nearly four decades. Some of Seven's key employees have been together for 28 years, as well. We don't think there is a custom bike builder with anywhere close to the depth of experience we have. There are dozens of reasons why it's compelling to work side by side with builders and business people with extensive experience.
- Mentors and Teachers: Our lead framebuilding and management team has well over 150 years of industry experience. You'll learn the framebuilding and business trade from the most experienced builder-mentors on the planet.
- Unique opportunity: We've been called the framebuilder's builder because we've taught dozens of builders who have gone on to start their own businesses. Working at Seven can be a lot more than just a job if you have aspirations to build frames on your own someday. Learn from the most seasoned team in the industry.
- Innovation: Some of us at Seven have been building innovative bikes for 38 years. Our list of industry firsts goes on and on. If you'd like to play a role in the next 40 years of bike innovation, Seven may be the right company for you.
- Making a Living: While a person can earn more money working in the defense industry or the insurance industry, there is often more to making a living than just the paycheck. Living is about your quality of life. For some, it includes how we treat the world. For some, it's how we make a difference in the world. We believe that Seven offers better wages, benefits, and quality of life than any other custom bike builder and many other companies.
- Location: We love eastern Massachusetts. Set in the heart of New England, Seven is about 10 minutes away from the historic city of Boston. We have the Atlantic Ocean 30 minutes to our east. We have amazing mountains 90 minutes to our north. We have beautiful woods everywhere. We have four seasons, and we're fairly certain that humans are designed to experience them. And we have well over 100 universities and colleges in the area, making Boston a "world leader in higher education." The number of smart, inquisitive students provides fertile ground for innovative bike design and creative thinking.
Making a Difference by Making Bikes
Building bikes is arguably one of the best things you can do with your life. Bikes are the true machines of freedom. Riding bikes makes you healthier. Bike ridership helps save the planet. Bikes are excellent tools for exploring your world. Whether you love bikes for commuting, racing, exploring, or expressing your anarchy, Seven loves all the reasons to love bikes.
Just building bikes isn't enough. We also strive to make a positive difference in the lives of our employees, customers, community, and the environment. Read about some of the additional ways we support and give back to the community.
As a manufacturer, Seven's most important product is customer satisfaction. Regardless of one's job title here, we all share the same primary responsibility: providing customer service. We're seeking individuals who share this philosophy and take pride in going the extra mile.
